Booster Information
The Siera Vista Band Booster Club is a parent organization designed to aid and assist the Sierra Vista Band program by providing support at fundraisers, field trips, festivals, concerts and other events. Having an organized parent support group helps ensure that the Sierra Vista Band puts on wel-run high quality events and provides a better overall musiical experience for the students, their families and the community.
If you have not het had the chance to attend a meeting but would like to be involved, here's how our organization is set up: |

Fundraising Committee - Sandy Pida - Chair
Helps come up with and plan new fundraisers to help the band with necessry expenses. |

Volunteer Support Committee - Claire Reeves - Chair
Helps make sure all conerts run successfully by assisting with bake sales, raffles and stage set up. |

Chaperone Committee
Accompanies the band on all festival performance field trips. |

Publicity Committee - open position
Helps publicize rundraiser events and conerts to the rest of the community |

Secretary - Melanie Rude - Chair
Records and publishes notes from the Boolster Club Meetings |

Treasurer - Susan Chapman - Chair
Keeps track of all money raised at fundraisers and writes checks for Band expenses. |

Webmaster - Cyndi Di Mauro - Chair
Updates the Svband.org website with current information. |

| Organizing our boosterr club by committees allows all parents to be involved without putting the bulk of the work on a single person. Our current system gives all parents an equal opportunity to help the band and enhance their student's musical experience without infringing on their lives away from Sierra Vista. Parental involvement helps more families take ownership in our program which will allow us to provide a wide variety of unique educational experiences the sutdents will rememer for the rest of their lives. |
